The World of Ambi Puvi's Wildlife Photography

Since I was very young, I wanted to spend as much time as possible taking incredible photographs that capture the raw beauty of the world. Unfortunately due to the civil war that was happening in Sri Lanka and the government's safety regulations, I could not use any sort of  camera for 20+ years. When I moved to UK in 2005, I received my first Canon compact camera from my brother as a gift. This made a massive impact in my interest in photography. I started with travel photography and then slowly moved to wildlife photography as a self learner. My learning still keeps on going as a hobbyist photographer,  but this field has massively helped me to keep my mind steady, and well focused with my daily activities and my family life, successfully.
